Main Hall

The Main Hall is the largest and brightest room in the palace, and it is where the great receptions were held. The two windows at the back have a magnificent view over the garden and the city of Barcelona.
The walls are decorated with painted wallpaper that imitates canvas. On the ceiling, the original painting has disappeared under layers of white paint, but the decorative border around it, which represents plant motifs and dragons, is preserved.
On the back wall there is a large mirror that doubles the effect of the space. On the sides of the mirror there are two gilded Empire-style consoles.
The parquet floor forms a geometric pattern with different types of wood. The glass chandelier is original to the palace.
